Your instructor, Joe Curran has a long association with boating in general, from years spent travelling the world with the Merchant Navy to his time as a volunteer boat crewmember with the National Sea Rescue institute (NSRI).

For a number of years he has been actively involved in promoting safe and responsible boating on inland waters. He has had experience on a variety of power driven and sailing vessels, and holds a Skippers certificate.

Joe is an accredited Instructor and Surveyor with the South African Institute for Skippers (SAIS).
